Baron Davis mini-interview
By InsideHoops.com | Mar. 8, 2008
Friday night in Miami the Heat hosted the Warriors. Golden State won big, 134-99. Their star point guard Baron Davis played just 28 minutes, getting a too-easy 15 points and 10 assists. InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner met with B-Diddy after the game, not to discuss just what went down on the court but for a minute of league MVP talk. Here's the exclusive InsideHoops.com mini-interview:
InsideHoops.com: What's the official Baron Davis vote for the league's MVP? Other than you or anyone on your team, of course.
Baron Davis: LeBron and Kobe. I mean, Kobe and LeBron, in that order. Kobe and LeBron... you talk about the most valuable players. That's how I look at it.
InsideHoops.com: How about LeBron's game the other day? Insane; 50 points, 8 assists, 10 rebounds.
Baron Davis: Yeah. He's a monster. He makes monster music. He's a monster. He's a beast and he's only 23, so imagine what he's going to be when he hits his prime.
InsideHoops.com: Say someday you're home, Warriors aren't playing, and you can watch anyone in the league...
Baron Davis: LeBron. I'm watching LeBron. All day. All day. That's my guy. And Kobe. Kobe and LeBron! Kobe and LeBron!
InsideHoops.com: Kobe and LeBron answers a lot of questions.
Baron Davis: And I love D-Wade's game, too. But Kobe and LeBron, I'm watching.
