Indiana Pacers sign Maceo Baston

The Indiana Pacers announced Friday they have signed free agent Maceo Baston. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Baston, a 6-9, 215-pound forward, spent the last three seasons in Israel playing for Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv, averaging 13.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Prior to playing in Israel, he played 16 games for the Toronto Raptors in 2003, where he averaged 2.5 ppg and 1.4 rpg in 16 games.
In 1998, Baston was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the second round (58th overall) of the NBA Draft, before spending two seasons with Quad Cities in the CBA. While in the CBA, he was named the 1999-2000 CBA Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the 1999-2000 All-CBA First Team.
