Bucks waive David Noel

The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on guard/forward David Noel, General Manager Larry Harris announced today.
Noel (6-6, 230) was assigned to the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League on January 20. He appeared in 17 games (14 starts) for the 66ers this season and averaged 20.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Tulsa is led by Head Coach Joey Meyer and has served as the Bucks D-League affiliate since the 2005-06 season.
Currently in his second NBA season, Noel did not appear in a game for the Bucks this season. He missed 27 games with a right wrist injury and was inactive (36 games) or a coach’s decision (two games) for the other 38 contests for Milwaukee. As a rookie, Noel appeared in 68 games for the Bucks and averaged 2.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 assist per contest.
