With lots of athletes across the world of sports, both amateur and professional, taking workout supplements, there's often some confusion in what's legit and and what isn't.

Legitimate Athletics LLC. recently introduced the release of their new trademark Certified Steroid Free (CSF) a testing process that will eliminate the concern of banned substances in sports supplements and all neutraceutical products.

Of their newest addition, Legitimate Athletics CEO Joseph Lander states, “We’re here to certify that the products you’re using contain exactly what’s on the product label, nothing more, nothing less. This system will undoubtedly help people live a healthier and safer lifestyle.”

CSF's new testing procedure and product labeling aims to revolutionize the nutritional supplement marketplace. CSF offers athletes a way to stand up for their rights with its thorough testing process, which eliminates the concern of banned substances in sports supplements. They do this by implementing a “checks and balances” testing procedure that will insure that the supplement they’re taking is free of any and all banned substances.

There are many substances that are “banned substances” in competitive athletics yet legal for the general public. Many manufacturing facilities that are manufacturing the very multivitamins, protein powders, and nutritional supplements you take, are also manufacturing products that contain these “banned substances.” Due to the powdered nature of supplement ingredients, contamination can, and sometimes will occur. As a result, there are many products that contain banned substances that may not be obvious from a cursory reading of the label.

CSF has licensed this meticulous testing process in which the CSF Mark must come from a CGMP certified lab, the product must contain no banned substances from any athletic affiliation on the premises for any reason for any period of time.

In addition, the lab must not manufacture any product that contains any banned substance.

If a substance becomes banned, that a facility previously stored or utilized for product, the facility may either forfeit their CSF license, or may remove the banned substance from their facility.
