The 6-2, 195 pound was a standout at the University of Washington, leaving the school as the Huskies all-time leader in assists in a career and a season. Originally a walk-on at Washington, Conroy was the first Husky player to ever top 200 assists in a season. The Seattle native also finished his outstanding four-year college career 21st on the Huskies all-time scoring list and led Washington to its first-ever Pac-10 Tournament Championship as a senior in 2004-05 while earning Honorable Mention All-Pac-10 honors.
Conroy played in the NBA Development League last season, earning All-NBA Development League Honorable Mention honors in 2005-06.
Conroy is the 12th Gatorade Call-up of the 2006-07 NBA Development League Season and the third of the year for the Clippers, who also signed Von Wafer of the Colorado 14ers and Luke Jackson of the Idaho Stampede to 10-day contracts earlier this season.
In a related move, the Clippers waived guard Von Wafer. Wafer was signed to a 10-day contract on February 21st.
