The Toronto Raptors announced Monday they have exercised the fourth year team option on the Rookie Scale Contract of forward Joey Graham. Graham is now guaranteed through the 2008-09 season. In accordance with the league’s collective bargaining agreement, the Raptors had until October 31 to exercise their option on Graham. Per team policy, financial terms of the deal was not disclosed.

Graham was selected by Toronto with the 16th pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. He has averaged 6.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in 159 regular season games. He has shot .826 (218-264) from the charity stripe in his two seasons with the club. He has scored a career-high 19 points on five occasions and grabbed a personal-best 12 rebounds March 30 at Washington.

The 6-foot-7, 225 pounder averaged 13.0 points and 5.2 rebounds in four collegiate seasons split between Central Florida and Oklahoma State. He helped OSU to the Final Four in his junior campaign.
