Gerald Green Mini-Interview

Boston Celtics swingman Gerald Green is young, athletic and looking to take his game to another level this season in his growth as an NBA player. InsideHoops.com editor Jeff Lenchiner recently met with Green for a quick interview. Here's what was said. InsideHoops.com: How was your summer, what were you up to?
Gerald Green: I went to Houston, worked on my game a lot. There are a lot of things that I want to get done. I'm really excited about the season, the upcoming season. I worked pretty hard at the things I needed to work on.
InsideHoops.com: What are some of those parts of your game that you worked on the most?
Gerald Green: Dribbling, defense, strength. I'm trying to get into a whole lot better shape than I was. IQ of the game. Every aspect of my game.
InsideHoops.com: Who were you working out with? Any known trainers, teammates, other NBA players?
Gerald Green: I was with other NBA players, working out with John Lucas, Kendrick Perkins.
InsideHoops.com: What was working out with Lucas like? He's well-known for helping a lot of players.
Gerald Green: He did a lot of things for me. In the future I'll always work out with him. He got me there, so I want to always go to him when I want to work out.
InsideHoops.com: The Gerald Green dunk contest. You're in charge. What dunkers, in or out of the NBA, would you invite for the sickest dunk contest ever?
Gerald Green: If you're going for the sickest dunk contest I don't know if I should be in there.
InsideHoops.com: Hah, well, I'd put you in. But what guys would you want to see in it?
Gerald Green: James White, Josh Smith, I like LeBron, and then I like that one kid out of high school, Bill Walker. But there's a lot of guys out there.
