Sixers trade Alan Henderson to Jazz

Philadelphia 76ers President Billy King announced today that the Sixers have traded forward Alan Henderson to the Utah Jazz for the rights to exchange second round draft picks in the 2007 NBA Draft. In addition the Jazz will receive cash considerations from the Sixers.
"This move gives us increased flexibility and provides us with additional options on draft day," said King.
The 6-9 center out of Indiana has played in 34 games with five starts for the 76ers this season, averaging 3.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game.
Henderson was originally drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the first round (16th pick overall) in the 1995 NBA Draft. In his 12-year NBA career, he has played for Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas and Philadelphia and has averaged 7.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 21.2 minutes in 648 games.
