Philadelphia 76ers President Billy King announced today that rookie forward Herbert Hill has suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee and will travel to Birmingham, Alabama to undergo surgery preformed by Dr. James Andrews. Hill appeared in five preseason games, averaging 2.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks.
