The Seattle SuperSonics announced today that the Sonics have exercised the fourth-year team option on center Johan Petro and the third-year team option on center Mouhamed Sene for the 2008-09 season.

The 7-0, 247-pound Petro, from France, averaged 6.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game last season.

Sene, who is 6-11, 230 pounds and from Senegal, averaged 1.9 points and 1.6 rebounds in 6.0 minutes per game.

Both players are still considered projects, though Petro is further along in his development.
