Rasheed Wallace suspended one game

Detroit Pistons forward Rasheed Wallace has
received an automatic one game suspension without pay after receiving his
18th technical of the 2006-07 season, it was announced today by Stu
Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.
A player or coach receives an automatic one-game suspension after receiving
his 18th technical foul. Every other technical foul beyond 18 (20, 22,
ect.) will also result in a one-game suspension without pay.
Wallace received his most recent technical foul with 11:30 remaining in the
second period of last night’s 90-89 loss to the San Antonio Spurs at the
AT&T Center. Wallace will serve his suspension today, Sunday, March 25,
when the Pistons travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks at the Bradley
Center.
