The Portland Trail Blazers have re-signed center Luke Schenscher to a second 10-day contract, effective today.
Portland originally signed Schenscher, the 16th Gatorade Call-Up of the NBA season, to a 10-day contract from the NBA Development League’s Fort Worth Flyers on March 15.
A native of Australia, Schenscher has appeared in one game for the Trail Blazers, grabbing two rebounds in four minutes off the bench in Portland’s 92-86 win at New York on March 22.
In 34 games (31 starts) with the Flyers this season, the 7-1, 265-pounder averaged 9.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.20 blocked shots while shooting .512 from the floor.
InsideHoops.com Editor, in Paul Hogan voice, says: That's not a 10-day contract. THIS is a 10-day contract.
