Nate Robinson Profile
By Jason Landy / Nov. 26, 2004
One of the most exciting players in the country is 5-9 point guard Nate Robinson out of the University of Washington. Thursday night, on Thanksgiving eve, fans got a glimpse of how special a player Robinson truly is as he torched University of Utah for 27 points.
A Wooden Award candidate, Robinson is a two-year letterman guard who led Washington in scoring during each
of his first two seasons.
Nate was named first-team All-Pac 10 in 2004, and registered 38 career double-figure scoring games.
Robinson originally enrolled at Washington on a football scholarship, but is now on a
basketball scholarship after deciding prior to the 2003-04 season to concentrate on the hardwood full-time. He played in all 13 football games in 2002 and
started the final six games as a cornerback on the Husky football squad,
including the Sun Bowl.
For a good time, check out Washington basketball games and keep your eye on the little guy with the ball.
